Why am I so attracted to what everyone else seems to want to avoid?

Probably because they are different from the norm. When my friend first came to Canada, he would check out every white girl he saw and go crazy over them. After one year and seeing tons of white girls he lost interest in white girls cause they weren't the "new" thing anymore. Also red heads look more glamourous because their beauty doesn't seem natural.

I think its because those features in a population are somewhat rare. So when you see them it's like a wow factor.
