Why do women need an ego boost from flirting, rather just ignore?

I've noticed this trend from my observations so far. I currently work as door man/bouncer at large university bar. I've been around the "block" and seen my fair share of women... So this not really a biased questions and is general about most women. When they are not getting attention from a guy they will walk in front of the guy,flip their hair in front of the guy,and straight up call a guy gay... It even gets as bad as girl trying to flirt with another guy and stare at you... This is how most women try to get attention or noticed. They do not really like to use any intellect but only their looks to get bye in life Most of my door men/bouncer and bar tender male co workers also get hit on a lot as well. we all work out and lift regularly, and are pretty atheistic by women standards. . we usually laugh at how trashy women are and desperate in today's generation. If you halfway work out women will be in "promiscuous" mode, I guess my personality is okay,when a women hits on me I just ignore and take as a grain of salt .. Women in my opinion play too many "games" which is a waste of time. I just can't stand the majority of women, and their promiscuous attitudes of entitlement in this generation, it's vile...

I think you have to consider the group of girls you're noticing this from. You work at a bar, that's half the story right there. Not every girl hangs out at bars. Not every girl who does go to a bar act in the manner you described.

Today's media puts so much focus on a woman's appearance which in turn leaves younger women who don't know any better feeling very insecure and therefore need the ego boost. But the fact is, a lot of guys need just as much boosting as these gals. I personally believe this country is purposely breeding insecurity in our society because those type of people are easier to control.

What you're noticing is also due to the difference in how children are raised today. Back when my mother was 20-something, girls in general were raised with more self-respect. They didn't throw themselves at guys. It boils down to you can only teach what you know. If a mother does not fully respect herself or have high self-esteem, then she's not going to be able to pass that along to her daughter.

Getting attention from flirting is an ego boost you can go to a bar and be the smartest one in the room and no one will flirt for that. It's a compliment when people flirt with you it doesn't make you trashy it's innocent girls that go home with any guy ya kinda trashy but what gives you the right to judge them.

Because women have far more insecurities than men to deal with. That's why they need a never ceasing source of compliments, and reassurances and ego boosts. That's why if you are the boyfriend and you stop complimenting her, she becomes certain that you're going to dump her.

It is impossible for a man to understand the depth of self-criticism that women carry around with them day-to-day.

That has always been the female nature, and always will be. It's just more acceptable today for them to show it. It's nothing new though.
