What if I call a guy and he doesn't pick up?

Question

This call would be the first call that I have made to him. Because we just met a few weeks ago and I "think" he is interested in me but he's playing hard-to-get! To cut the long story short, last time I saw him, he tells me to call him and then I'll find out if he's interested or not!

If he doesn't pick up, should I just leave him a voicemail, a txt, or just a missed call? Or what?

If this is the first and only time you've tried to call him then there's a very good chance that you just missed him. Its important on calls like this to leave a message, something casual, just letting them know you're calling to get in touch/say hey/etc. It leaves an opening and a reason for your call, making it a lot more personal than a simple phone number on their caller ID, they also may not have you listed in their phone so they may not respond to an unanswered number.

Also, always leave your number in your message too, this gives the other person bread crumbs to follow when they're looking through their list and find a number they don't recognize.

Leave him a message, be sure to ask him to call you back, and maybe even give him a good time to reach you. For all you know he was just too nervous to answer.

I will say this however. If he outright said "Call me later and I'll see if I'm interested in you or not" don't even bother calling him again, this guy is a waste of time and has an attitude that he's a 'privilege' to be with. Unless you like ego stroking don't bother. Just my 2 cents.

If he doesn't pick up then go ahead and leave him a simple casual voice mail, as long as you don't do like 10 in a row I think you'll be alright! Lol

Don't do nothing if you keep on calling him he going to think your desperate. If  You called him once or twice that's it let him call you.
