Why does he call me but when he gets off the phone he says he’ll call me back but never does?

He calls me everyday but he never calls back when he says he will. I’m left hanging a lot. He’ll call and we’ll talk and then he will say, “hold on I’ll call you right back” and never does lol I’ll always see him on Instagram though

Something came up. Doesn’t necessarily have to be a bad thing. I tend to overthink things, and if I were in your position, I would automatically assume someone else important called, or he was just waiting until that other person calls. I’m not saying you do but don’t overthink it. I think you should be fine.
