What does it mean when a guy stares at a girl all the time but starts getting awkward around her when she is near him?

He's a really hot guy but I don't know why he gets shy only around me? And he has no problem talking with other girls.

I just did this last week.. and the week before that.. and. you get the point.

I like the girl, yet I can't talk to her or smile. I can however look at her and into her eyes and get lost. I can talk to girls around me, but not to her.

Honestly though, I plan on talking to her this week and breaking the ice. I've kind of had a enough of us not talking and getting no where at all.

If you want to break the ice go for it, but expect that he will be a bit weird. Chances are he wants to impress you so he will act guarded not to say or do anything stupid.

The man likes you. Look at how he quickly glances away, feels uncomfortable asking questions towards you, and how his posture is around you. Most extroverts are comfortable joking around and laughing with girls and guys that he considers only friends. listen for him to open up and share personal things with you that aren't what you would expect. Sometimes you have to make the move. Follow him somewhere where you can be alone and start the conservation. Trust me on this one. Offer a back massage, sporadic hug, some form of physical touch and see how he reacts. Best of luck.

He's basically done what you've written above, except that when he stares, i'm usually the one that looks away first since I feel that it is "too long" for us to be looking into each others eyes then one would normally do with others. But he also has like a blank, serious expression on his face when this happens.

Yeah I do that too. I have a blank expression, but I look into the girls eyes. It means he likes you and well why not look into your eyes.. I mean if I like the girl, I'm going to look into her eyes to kinda TELL her I like her. Next time STARE back and hold it for a bit. It's actually such a good intense feeling.

Most likely because he likes you a lot and he's the shy type I always use to shake and get really quiet and anxious around girls I liked but it could most likely be because he has a thing for you but is nervous to open up in front of other people when you're alone try to make some form of physical contact but don't creep him out just something playful or sweet after a while he'll open up more around you
