I smiled at my crush but he didn't smile back.

I saw him today walking in the opposite direction of me so i wanted to make a move so I stared at him and smiled, when he caught my eyes he didn't smile back, maybe he panicked or got shocked as we don't talk, sometimes we stare only and each other for a couple of seconds and either him or me look away quickly, so when he did this i felt embarrassed and felt hurt, although my friends tell me that he likes me, also my friend is with us at the sport activity and with him at the school and she tells me that he is a shy guy, so yeah, what do you think? does this mean he isn't interested in me or what? I'm really confused and need answers:') i thought about doing the same to him and if i catch him looking at me i will look at hiim badly but i know i can't because i like him so freaking much, sorry for the long question xx

Shy guys are always quiet. I was... still am, LOL! I dont know about these days, but back in high school I wouldn't have smiled either. You need to get closer to him, like inches, not feet, LOL!

Give him a hug and if you do, don't let go, that is if he really is shy. Shy guys need stuff like that.

Come to think of it I think I have smiled, but never first. I would only smile if the girl I liked smiled first and then if it was a girl I knew. Otherwise I would be to embarrassed and perhaps shocked.
