Would a shy guy add his crush on Facebook ?

I don't know how active he's on Facebook but I don't know why he wouldn't add me! My guts tell me that he likes me because he stares at me , mostly when he can. I also just talked to him twice, simply to ask a question and also this happened: ( copied it from one of my other questions) "So this shy guy was always staring at me throughout the entire year and then he slowly stopped and I don't know why but he still looks but i feel like he's more careful now. So yesterday, I wasn't at school and he's in one of my classes okk. And when my friend told the teacher i wasn't here he apparently reacted a lot as in like he was looking around the classroom and looking at the door. she didn't really understand when i said 'Im confused" when he used to sometimes stare, and sometimes not but even now, after she told me, she said she wasn't expecting it and now she's even confused. she said it obv looke dlike something was going on in his brain. and i uugghh really dont know because a week ago there was a school dance that i didn't go to and apparently he danced with a girl there. they didn't officially "go" together but they just danced apparently... i really really dont know. soos osooososooo confused. help."

Facebook 's "peak" moments are gone as far as I am concerned. It's just something people have but only some people really use.

But even then when Facebook was big people "jumped on board" to utilize the privacy settings (and the attention whores eventually followed) so right now it's really better to know someone in person very well before randomly adding them on Facebook . So unless you've talked to discussed adding each other on Facebook don't expect it because most people assume "stalker" stuff nowadays even though an add could simply be from a "people you may know" list.

Not a whole lot of people who have facebooks still use them. But if I have a crush on someone, I wouldn't follow them on Twitter or instagram until I've had a couple conversations with them. But if you're pretty sure he likes you, talk to him. All guys wish that girls would come up and talk to them. Nowadays in society, guys almost always have to make the first move. If you just go talk to him, it would probably be like the greatest thing that's ever happened to him. And once you start talking, then you can see if he wants to hang out sometime if he's to shy to ask.

Doesn't say much. And your friend might be exaggerating the story considering that she knows you like him and she's hoping that he'll like you too.
Adding someone on Facebook doesn't really say much either. It's not much to go by. Tons of people add people they barely even know just for the sake of making it look like they have lots of friends.
Why don't you just accept his request and start talking to him? That's the only way you'll ever find out. Stop beating around the bush and start initiating more contact with him.

the only thing I could say is he may be so shy as to even be afraid of adding you if you've never even really talked or anything and he "doesn't want you to find out"
