Would you think it was weird if a guy you barely know added you on Facebook?

i only add girls I know or at least hung out with one night (and got to know well enough). there are some girls who I could add and I know they'd recognize me (although we've never talked).

again I've never done this before but I've thought about it. how often do you accept friend requests from guys like this? some guy you haven't really talked to but you know from somewhere? would you be interested in getting to know him better?

hmm, depends...if she remembers you and thought you were and okay guys she may accept. I think a lot really depends on what her goals are on Facebook and what she uses Facebook for, you know what I mean? some people add everyone lol friends, enemies, frienemies lol..some people only add certain people because they don't want everyone knowing their business. For example, I will accept a request from pretty much anyone who I have met in person (within reason, like we have met more than 5 times) because I don't put ANY of my personal business on Facebook...not where I work, live, or go to school...and I don't update my status with where I am or where I am going at any given time...it freaks me out to think all those people can track me...I just use Facebook to keep in touch and share my likes (music, sports, blah blah) SOOO just give it a shot...the worst that could happen is she doesn't accept : / no big deal. : )

Tons of guys/girls I meet at parties & don't recognize them.

How do you think the girls you never talked to would recognize you?

I wouldn't accept fb friend requests because I don't even list my own friends.

But if I did it wouldn't be with a guy I hung out once with or never talked to.

If I had really been interested in getting to know him I'd given him my phone number or got his.

Either way I don't think it's "creepy." But I wouldn't worry about the creep factor. Everyone is obsessed and anal with people being potential creepers. Seriously. You can't even approach someone anymore without being one. So might as well give it a go. I personally don't think it's wrong and I wouldn't really be bothered. Whatcha' got to lose?

I'll usually accept someone if I recognize them. I don't use Facebook often though, so it's not the best way to communicate with me.
