How am I supposed to get my crush to take me seriously?

Okay, I've had a crush on this guy since I met him my freshman year. We talked a bit then but not all that much. This year we worked on a one act play together and it didn't help my crush in the least bit. Since then I've talked to him a couple times in the halls but that's it. How do I get his attention long enough to show him I like him? He's not much of a texter either so I'm a tad stumped.

walk up ask him to coffee/tea/soda whatever. your on the easy side of things as Hi wanna go on a date/walk me home/watch a movie will usually result in a yes. guys are not good at interpreting women's subtle hints (been married 15 years and I still haven't figured out my wife's hints, I know something is off just not what). if you aren't verbally hitting him over the head with a crowbar he might not notice. just be ABSOLUTELY direct aka I like you wanna date? (that is a good crowbar).

You should just forget about him honestly. It's soooo much trouble that you will have to go through if you're THAT determined. Better to focus your effort on another guy who cares about you, friend. I'm sure some guys give you that kind of "you're pretty" look.

Get to know him better, ask what he likes to do in his free time, what sports he plays, and anything that comes to mind. If you want to get his attention telling him your interested him then flirt with him, play a game of footsie if you sit next to him, say hi to him when he walks to his classes. He might not be much of a texter cause he's shy and doesn't really know anyone yet.

Honestly think he isn't into you as much as you may think. I think you should move on and realize the flaws you're overlooking. If you think he will notice you in time it's up to you but remember that most of us are just jerks who think we have it granted. Don't beat yourself over it if he doesn't budge in, sure you can find someone that will make him look like a joke if you let it go. Good luck!

Pretty positive he doesn't. I've tried to make hints the only thing left is to flat out just tell him I like him. But I feel like that would be rather weird.

You might try asking him to study together after school, especially if there's an upcoming exam or quiz.
