If your girlfriend tells you about a guy hitting on her does that p*ss you off?

I told my boyfriend about this guy who was flirting with me... I only told him because I though it was funny and I wanted him to be a little bit possessive of me I guess. He's extremely good looking and kind and smart and has all these great qualities and I don't think I am good looking at all and I don't think I'm as nice as him and so I don't know if he really likes me sometimes and if he does I can't understand why... I just hope I didn't p*ss him off..

so if your girlfriend told you about some guy hitting on you like crazy would you get mad at her?

I shouldn't have said anything. I should just keep my mouth shut. I feel so stupid.

To me, I get really aggravated when I hear this from my girlfriend. I don't really get mad AT the girl, or anything. And it's certainly not something I would hold a grudge about, or expect her to apologise for, but it does really get under my skin.

If I had a choice, I'd rather they did something to stop it! But since that's never gonna happen, I would prefer they didn't make it a point to tell me about it. It's almost as if they were rubbing it my face that other guys liked them.

But that's just how I feel about it.

When a guy has to feel possessive, it means he's worried about losing you. Do you really want your boyfriend feeling like he could lose you? Like you were trying to find someone else? Believe me, to the guy, its an awful feeling.

This particular question hits home with me, because my (now ex) girlfriend would do that to me all the time. It made me feel really bad. End of my story? She really did leave me for another guy, after cheating on me for months! I should've seen it coming......

No I didn't have that sort of intention at all. Girls in general like to feel loved and they like to feel like they're beautiful and that they shouldn't be taken for granted regardless of how nice they are and I just felt a little insecure so I did that. I'm really sorry about what happened to you but think about it you're better off without a person like that in your life. Again thanks so much for your input
