I personally only hit a guy if I'm really into him just to start some kind of skin ship between us, you know?
It's like how guys tease the girls they're into. It doesn't make sense, but it's usually flirty.

You do that out of the blue to me, depending on how and where you may find yourself getting clocked out of instinct/training.
It wouldn't be on purpose just years of training for survival.
If you have ever had a partner get violent in a relationship, having a subsequent partner poking and pushing as a "joke" is not really funny.
