Do you think it's rude and what would you say if someone told you your food that you cooked was nasty?

  • Depends on how its said. They shouldn't ever say its nasty but critiquing with positive reinforcement is fine. As long as they actually offer tips and ideas to make it better. But they should probably still say its fine.

  • Yeah, it's incredibly rude. If you don't like what they chose to cook, you can communicate that politely without being a dick about it. XD

  • It's pretty frickin' rude. Cooking is a lot of work, and some people even make up their own recipes. You'd hurt the hell out of someone's feelings by telling them that.

Maybe let them know that you greatly prefer food to taste a certain way.

  • Depends on who the person is I guess. Personally I'd suck it up eat it and avoid having to eat their cooking again
