Is rye bread made with dill dough?
Anyone have any insight into this?
Wow I have never heard of noticed that.
I think you are detecting caraway seeds. They are a common ingredient. (I don't like them but I love certain ryes, esp Canadian and German light ones.)
Oh yeah! Caraway... Could be...

Uh… rye bread is made with rye.
Is there such a thing as "rye dough"?
Rye is a grain. Like wheat, corn, barely, and oats. Rye flour is just ground rye. Most rye breads are a combination of rye and wheat flours as rye doesn't have the gluten content that wheat does so a pure rye bread wouldn't have the same texture. It wouldn't be light and fluffy. Dill on the other hand is an herb which can be used to change the flavor of may things. Breads include.
Google is a thing
