"I do but I only go rarely." In the US, I would only go to McDonalds like every 3-6 months (because many were open 24 hours where I lived, and I'd go between 1am and 4am), and would pretty much only ever order a 20-piece McNuggets meal, cause their burgers aren't that great to me (I'd go to Wendy's if I wanted late night burgers, but they close at 10:30).
Here in South Korea, I'd only go every six weeks, for the same 24 hours rule. The McNuggets here are ass though, so I only get the Double Quarter Pounder meal, which costs about $11, and yeah, I do feel bad about it... The next day. It's f*ckin' GOOD on the day I'm eating it, even if it is nasty-ass McDonalds. But they don't have Wendys OR Five Guys in this country, and the Burger Kings here are almost as bad as the US ones.
I rarely eat fast food in general, and it's typically like a once every 4-6 weeks thing, but McDonalds is one of the only US chains here. Korea has a chicken fast food place called Mom's Touch, which is like a KFC/Burger King hybrid, but I don't like them. They also have Lotteria, which is like the Papa John's of burger chains, if you can believe it. Quickest way to stop eating fast food and get healthier is to eat at Lotteria one day.

Thanks a lot by the way & with all this McDonald’s talk I could totally go for chicken McNuggets right about now & maybe some apple pies as well.
too bad there's no mcribs right now
No McRibs Or No McLobster, WTF?
McDonald’s does not have to be bad for you - their Caesar salad and chicken nugget meals with non caffeinated soda water are great for low carb diets and could actually cause you to lose weight if you avoid carbs. I lost half a pound a day eating that but I only did it for short bursts cause their meals are expensive if you do it too often. Their wraps can also be healthy, yes maybe they have ranch dressing but it also contains protein and lettuce for vitamin C so it’s not as bad as some other things people eat. McDonald’s is only horrible if you get their cokes and sprites or their beef burgers with their bread. I don’t get that because I do not enjoy the taste. Their caffeinated specialities are also very bad for you, but they’ve got good stuff too.
It's like been like 2 or 3 years since the last time I went to a McDonald's. I don't feel ashamed but I do feel awful after eating. It tastes good in the moment but then I realize that I just hurt my body.
"Are people really arguing that there’s nothing shameful about eating terrible food at McDonald’s? Is this the twilight zone?" - Well don't be surprised. People on GAG have opinions that would be considered outrageous in the real world. 🤦

Haven’t been to a McDonald’s since 1997, as soon as I could stop getting Happy Meals just for the Beanie Baby for my ex-girlfriend lmfao. I’m bugged out by fast food. Once a place has more than like ten locations, I figure they start cutting corners with the food.
I love their ice cream and French fries. They're not really walking distance from my home though, so I go to jack in the box, literally a 3 minute walk from my house.
The last time I went to mcdonald's was probably 2-3 years ago during a family vacation. There weren't any affordable options when it came to having a quick snack so we ordered ice cream and French fries.
If you ever find yourself in the position of having to research how to catch and clean an urban squirrel, you will know what "bad food" actually is. McDonald's isn't even close. It's simple, cheap, greasy, and calorically dense; exactly what you need when you've got to stretch every penny.
Despite all the research and data, despite all the warnings and everything... McDonald’s is ok?
Okay? Too much cholesterol, too much fat, too many calories- these things can do real harm to your body. "Too much", in precise quantity, varies- but it's a helluva lot more than you'll get with the odd meal.
If I'm on the road and starving, I sometimes pull in for a fillet of fish sandwich. At least the fish is real, even if the cheese isn't, and the bun contains yoga mat material.
Aside from that I haven't eaten anything else at McDonalds for years. The food is a product that only resembles food. It has zero nutrition and is actually unhealthy.
Plus, its corporate culture is evil. All that is true for virtually every fast food outlet, though.
The ONLY time I eat at Mickey D's is when I have to make the very long drive to visit my grandparents, in which case it's the only fast food on the way in the right window for lunch.
I haven't made that trip in a few years since I always fly now.
Never go there, but when i do i am not ashamed at all.
I will however counter your comedy with comedy :D
We live in a fast food nation. It's mainly the health nuts that are ashamed of eating there.
The food is decent, but it always makes me feel like crap after eating it.
I don't like going to fast food, but I hate cooking for one, and am usually fairly tired after work. (which coincidentally probably has to do with the crap food I eat when I don't cook.)
Last time I was forced by a business 'partner' to go there some three years ago, I think.
It was AWFUL:
- they had this silly and repelling clown-thing outside to scare away children
- the whole interiour aggressively screamed its advertising at me from each direction; it was... unrelaxing
- queuing up for food: where am I? Army barracks; or public welfare?
- all this throw-away (and one-way-articles) shit also makes the atmosphere feeling
very cheap an superficial.
One time I got a meal from McDonald's and developed diarrhea that would not stop I went to the hospital and they told me it was colitis of the bowel and they admitted me cause of dehydration but I believe it was the McDonald's food that done it to me?
I like McDonald's but I got one of the new crispy chicken sandwiches last week (spicy version) and it was a little much for my tender tummy. I like mild spicy and that was more than mild.
I could care less where I eat, if I’m hungry I’m hungry.
i mean who cares about your health right? lol
You can eat correctly (who is correct), be perfect health and still die.
even if that food is at mcdonalds?
Lol I seldom eat at McDonald’s if I do I eat the chicken strips or nuggets, but the point is I could careless if someone saw me there. I never eat at a expensive restaurant, I like regular food
It is terrible food, and it's not good what they have to do to sustain the beef pipeline. There really aren't any chains you can count on for sustainable, healthy proteins. Even local shops will use low cost meats from farms with bad practices. That's why I hardly eat out - maybe once a week, and I find places that source locally from good farms.
If I ate way to many yes i would feel terrible but now and then is ok to many i would feel disgusted with my self I would end up the size McDonalds its elf if 8 got to many but jst do what I do get one now and then thts kl
Not a fan, only really go if I'm out in a group and get dragged in. Plenty of places produce better burgers for not much more.
Besides staring at a guys crotch and asking if he'd like to go large isn't as welcome as you might expect.
No, I love McDonald's. Why should I feel ashamed for eating there every now and then? As long as fast food is eaten in moderation, I don't see a problem with it.
No shame whatsoever in going there. I like it and if some food snob wants to get arsey, they quickly wind it in after being asked to stop being a cunt.
No, I don't. I could go for a Macdonald's meal anytime.

I feel guilty whenever I have a meal that I know is terrible for me. I feel like I gave in instead of having willpower.
In my opinion they market towards black communities. It's especially bad because I think they are targeting a section of the population that has health problems such as diabetes & high blood pressure.
I don't care about the sight of me entering a McDonald's. But the food makes me feel gross so I just don't go. I haven't voluntarily been in many years.
No, I have no reason to.
If I want Mcdonalds then I'm going to eat at McDonald's, I had enough of letting people control what I do just because I'm afraid of being judge when I KNOW people are going to judge me regardless of what I do.
Not shameful.
Just quick easy fix.
But i definitely wouldn't eat there more than once every few months
"Are people really arguing that there’s nothing shameful about eating terrible food at
McDonald’s? Is this the twilight zone?"
Heh... you sound like a diva.
yeah? you sound like a dick. suck it
Hell no, not at all I like McD's
if anything, I sometimes get upset when they screw my order if that counts
Lol why will people feel ashamed of eating at McDonald's? 😂 Nothing shameful about food.
Cause it’s terrible for you lol
Mold doesn’t even grow on McDonalds. It’s not even real food.
Because McDonalds is low class and low quality
Burger King only, bruh.
Mcdonalds are only good for the milkshakes - which is actually what they were originally about.
I don't think there's anything "shameful" about it, I just don't like it myself.
Doing anything that is absolutely terrible for you is pretty shameful
@Still-alive Most things people enjoy doing is pretty terrible for you, it would be kind of boring if you only ever did what is healthy and nothing else. Like, using whatever device you are using right now is probably not all that good.
Jc but would you call smoking cigarettes shameful?
I eat at McDonald's about once every ten years, only when circumstances conspire against me!
McDonald's is all about money not quality you pay a arm and a leg for a tiny Burger shit i rather go to burger king get 2 huge flame broiled whoppers for $5 bucks thats a burger
As a new parent of twins, clown burger has been an arguably nessesary evil. No time to cook, constantly exhausted.
Getting junk food delivered has been something of a blessing and a curse.
Nah, I almost never go there (on average under once a year), I consider myself pretty healthy. If I do go, I think my body will be okay
Gosh, I can't remember the last time I ate from McD's, except for coffee when in a pinch.
i don't eat it every day but sometimes their food tastes very good
Nobody talks about the cookies, but man, are they good!!
No but then it's generally a case of eat McDonald's or don't eat... I will always pick another option whenever it is available
A bit - even if just eating salads there
I think it symbolises laziness to make a mean at home, and us thus a bit too (white or black) trashy
Strange how there's no answer that I'm not ashamed. I go there sometimes, usually once every 1-2 months. I don't see anything wrong with mcd if people don't go there too often
I do eat there from time to time so I don't feel ashamed at all. Mostly because it's the only affordable fast food here. It's also in almost every city so easily accessible.
How can food that tastes so good leave you feeling so ashamed of yourself? Yeah I do sometimes.
I don't like their burgers so I hardly eat there but I don't feel guilty about it.
I don't eat McDonalds I honestly can't it makes me sick.
Lol
My option isn't here
This is very disappointing
I feel no shame
I never go there but many years ago when I last went I wouldn't feel good after eating their food. That is why I don't go anymore
Yes. All those tasty cows that were slaughtered 🐂🐃🐄🦬
The only think I ever feel is fully satisfied after eating at McDonald’s.
I don't feel shame, because sometimes, they taste good.
Y’all white people have it easy. We have to travel to Dubai to get halal McDonald’s. Like fuck all that
McDonald’s is for the sisters and Bro’s.. They love it!
Listen to their commercials, that’s who they advertise to. They do it all for you !
When I eat their burgers I sure do most disappointing burgers ever 😭😭
I never eat at McDonald's
It is gross, low quality, low class, unhealthy, etc
Nope, I love McDonalds. But I don’t eat their very often.
İ never felt ashamed or felt bad about eating there. İ don't care what people think. İ eat there only when i want to eat there. That's all
I feel terrible. Even McNuggets are eh now on my conscience.
The McMuffin is ok for a quick snack in the morning.
McDonald's has the best french fries; and there is nothing shameful about eating there.
Mold doesn’t even grow on their fries. There’s literally more nutrition from eating cardboard.
There’s several YouTube videos of this experiment.
Real world experience tells me that it can happen. Just because someone on YouTube can keep mold from forming on fries for a while doesn't mean that it won't form on them eventually. Https://youtu.be/DCgHNDaiOJg
That’s a pretty weak argument. Lol suit yourself.
It's just a fastfood Chain. Overthinking about it is not wise. You go if you want to have something, or you don't go there.
No. I could go for a Big Mac right now.
I would if I did but I don't so I won't.
voted c... the same as the last 40 odd years
speaking of, I'm kinda craving a maccies rn
