If doing home made burgers, then I just like them in a bun with nothing else.
I want to taste the meat and those juices, not all that other stuff.
if it’s some processed bollox from a fast food place, load it up, I don’t want to taste that meat lol.
I can't eat a plain burger lol
These things already have a bit of onion in, spices and herbs, and are about an inch thick.
Sometimes add chillies to the meat as well
I like everything except all the condiments. I just like the flavor of the meat. I can stand ketchup but I’m weird about multiple condiments mixed together, so that’s it. I don’t really like mayonnaise, and I only do mustard on hot dogs (gotta be spicy mustard though, I don’t care for the plain yellow kind).
So mine would look like:
-Cheddar cheese
-Lettuce
-Tomato
-Onion
-Pickles
-Bacon (if I’m feeling squirrely)
My aunt owned a burger shop by the beach - SBB (Sarah's Batty Burgers) years ago. The only thing that didn't go in her homemade burgers (not those premade patties) was the kitchen sink. Customer wanted, customer got.
And I follow suit. If I like it, it typically ends up in a burger. Sometimes it's too big to bite into and you gotta cut it with knife & fork.
What does NOT go on a burger: Mustard, tomatoes, jalapenos (I don't like mustard, tomatoes or jalapenos at all, so this is not specific to burgers), pineapple
What DOES go on a burger: Pickles, cheese, bacon, lettuce, "house sauce", sometimes avocado. For BBQ/western style burgers, onion rings & BBQ sauce!

A burger should be made with cheese, lettuce, tomato, onion, mayo, ketchup. mustard. thousand island dressing and bacon. The best bun to use is massa which is a sweet bread that both Portuguese and Syrian people claim as theirs.
That's way too many sauces mixed together lol
Actually, there are no laws on this subject and people are free to add whatever they want to their hamburger.
Way to be miserable.
I personally think pickles do not belong on a burger 🤢 I love pickles but only if they are eaten alone. I think pickles ruins the burger.
Same!!! I never understood pickles on a burger. I love them solo tho.
^ yes! To me they take over the flavor of the burger and you can’t taste anything else on there.
Bacon is my least favorite among the pics since I think it overpowers the beef with pork. I love mustard and pickles though.
I love pickles. Just not on anything.
I like to eat them plain. And not those kind, like deli pickles.
Same. I have an addiction to pickles even on their own. That seems more common in women in my experience but as a boy, I was addicted to the pickles in the jar. Well, I love tomatoes, pickles, and mustard. All three seem to have something in common to my brain that makes them all highly addictive to me.
Everything except buns, lettuce, ketchup, and mayo.
Cheese only if you're bored and feeling fiesty.
Lmao i'm always feeling feisty
I don't like pickles in my burger.
Lettuce and tomato are a must for me cause otherwise meat and sauce alone feels too greasy to me and veggies balance it out.
That makes sense. I hate tomatoes tho lol
Mayonnaise does NOT go on any burger I eat. I can take or leave bacon, love mustard, will accept ketchup, sometimes like cheese, like a leaf or three of lettuce, Tomato and pickle most times, raw onion slice yum!!
Also love jalepeño slices.
Now I want a burger!
I do love a good burger. I do not like Mayo or Bacon on my burgers. I do enjoy Lettuce, tomatoes, Onions (raw), pickles, and some good smokey barbecue sauce.
Note: Everyone is different. So, what preference I have may not be the same as another person. There are people I know of who enjoy anchovies, Tuna, fish eggs, and a lot of other strange items on their burgers.
Basically, be creative, and enjoy your burgers!!!
No one said Barbaque sauce?
Seasoning, I also like firey hot sauce.
Like a scorpian or ghost pepper, if you marinate your patty in the hot sauce it's better tasting.
The other advantage to really hot sauces, is the Aholes that eat your lunch.
When you see someone crying and it's a mouth burn, you can smile and say, I really like firey foods.
Many things can go on a hamburger sandwich
bacons, fried eggs, cheese, home fries
lettuce, tomato, cucumbers, red onions, fried onions, meatsauce, Dill pickels
Mayo, mustard, ketchup
French fries
mac and cheese, pasta
gravy
stovetop stuffing
potato chips
Here are some things that I wouldn't want on my burger
breakfast cereals
Peanuts and other legumes
Broccoli, cauliflower, brussels sprouts, lima beans, peas
Watermelons, oranges, grapefruits, lemons, limes -Most sweat fruits
candy, cakes, cupcakes, pies,
My burgers have meat, pepper jack and cheddar cheese, tomato, light lettuce, onion, grilled mushrooms, pickles and mustard. MAAAAYBE ketchup but rarely.
Keep bacon and mayo far away.
i like to keep the ketchup and bacon off my burger. I do like lettuces, tomatoes, pickles, onions mustard and mayo. then its perfect!
Lol nice
Nope sorry you are wrong a good hamburger has mustard, mayo, raw onions, pickles, tomatoes, crisp lettuce, bacon and cheese and grilled jalapenos. Yumm.
@Ez-Bri-Z my girl!! 😄✋
@Ez-Bri-Z you just know good taste. Lol
No mustard, tomato or pickles on hamburgers but you can add frys on a hamburger
Lol no fries on the burger
How about onion rings
I definitely don't like sliced fresh onions on my hamburger.
However, I don't mind grilled finely chopped/diced onions.
Bacon - i am vegietarian
Mayo - i hate mayo
Ketchup - not a fan but i don't mind
Pickles - i prefer cucumber slices
I put katchup, pickles, and onions on my hamburgers.
If it had any of those on it I'd still eat it but prefer no tomatoes, iceberg lettuce and not a fan of mayonnaise on a burger
I don't like tomato slices because of their texture and the fact that they slide off the patty and also grilled pineapples.
Personally, tomatoes or mayonnaise. Why the hell anyone would ever WANT those on a burger is beyond me. For a general answer, I'm going to say peanut butter or fruit.
