Why the hell is garlic bread not vegan?

I thought vegan food is just anything that doesn't contain meat... But apparently it's not vegan friendly cos it contains butter (made by animals) lol, wtf.. that's abit excessive isn't it?
Why does it matter that they milked some cows tits to make milk? I'm sure the cow doesn't mind,. your mum wouldn't mind if a farmer milked her tits would she? So why would a cow?

Vegan contains no animal products, no milk, no eggs, no honey, ...

Veggetarian contains no dead animal, but do contain milk, eggs, honey.

So Garlic bread is vegetarian if its made with butter and vegan if its made with olive oil or margarine.

Why? Because that's the definition of "vegan". People who eat eggs and dairy but not dead animals are called "vegetarian". People who eat fish but no other meat are "pescatarian".
