On a scale of 1 to 10, how important is food to you?

Before I give my opinion, let me start by saying, there are two kinds of people in this world. There are those that live to eat and there are those that eat to live. The former being people who are foodies and love to explore cuisine. While the latter are people who are on special diets that require them to eat meals they do not enjoy.
I have a friend who has a rare disease where he can't eat sodium or sugar. His food is very bland and he doesn't enjoy any of it. He doesn't live to eat, he eats to live.
I'm the type of person that lives to eat. To me, food is very important. In fact, the kitchen and the dinner table is the intersection in my home where my family connects the most and food is big part of the gathering. In my home, everyone is at the table for dinner. That's the time we share in community. It's the time we check in with each other and ask how our day was. Whether it is a home cooked meal or take out, food is central to my family. Oh, and we all eat big meals. My motto, better to have more than not enough.
Pretty much 10/10… 😬
This was my “quesopita” the other day. A mix of Mediterranean… basically a chicken shawarma pita… and a quesadilla.
10/10
I am known for getting hangry. My whole world starts to crumble when I don't have food around the house. If I want to have a good day, I must be well fed. It comforts and excites me when I know there's good food around. I do little happy dances when I enjoy food a lot.
Something my dad used to always say is that, He doesn't eat to live, he lives to eat
People assume I don't like food though because I like eating small amounts of food at a time and because my weight fluctuates between 101lbs - 105lbs
Wow so many people chose 10/10.
I chose 7. I go in phases of basic, and boredom, and cravings, and enjoyment. I don't use it to destress or self-soothe. But I'm pretty particular about quality.
I cook a lot. I'm always wishing for something new at the grocery store.
@exitseven Well obviously but I doubt that's the intention of the question.
@AmandaYVR these polling options made me quite itchy and almost wanted to cry as well
@NathanDavis lololol. And how about the question. It's all too much to bear... lol
@AmandaYVR I just avoided it and went on a trip... lol
vital > Vitality > Vitalogy > Pearl Jam > Eddie Vedder... then this song, where did this song come from? I don't know... but it's a nice one, and it's also one that he doesn't sing... just a story to tell
She said to me, over the phone
She wanted to see other people
I thought, "well, then
Look around, they're everywhere"
Said that she was confused
I thought, "darlin', join the club"
24 years old, mid-life crisis
Nowadays hits you when you're young
I hung up, she called back, I hung up again
The process had already started
Least it happened quick
I swear I died inside that night
A friend, he'd called, I didn't mention a thing
The last thing he said was "be sound", sound
I contemplated an awful thing, I hate to admit
I just thought those would be such appropriate last words
But, I'm still here, and small
So small, how could this trouble seam so big
So big
Well the palms in the breeze still blow green
And the waves in the sea still absolute blue
But the horror
Every single thing I see is a reminder of her
Never thought I'd curse the day I met her
And since she's gone, and wouldn't hear
Who would care?
What good would that do?
But I'm still here
So I imagine in a month or 12
I'll be somewhere having a drink
Laughing at a stupid joke
Or just another stupid thing
And I can see myself stopping short
Drifting out of the present
Sucked by the under tow and pulled out deep
And there I am standing
Wet grass and white head stones, all in rows
And in the distance there's one off on it's own
So I stop, kneel
My new home
And I picture a sober awakening
A re-entry into this little bar scene
Sip my drink till the ice hits my lip
Order another round
And that's it for now
Sorry, never been too good at happy endings
@NathanDavis Is that you are Ed?
@AmandaYVR I'm not Ed... lol
@NathanDavis Here's a good one.
This one sounds like you.

I don't need big meals, but I do LOVE tasty food. And I have to eat. So I'd rate food's importance highly. Maybe even 10/10.
U and me on a Mediterranean food tour, spring 2022?
I like to eat. Frankly, a woman who tells me that she's an amazing cook is far more enticing than one who claims to be amazing in the sack.
Man so honest😂
It is important for nourishment as well as I am a foodie. So food is a 10/10
Yep. But some foods easily have 1k cals in them, and dont even satisfy me. I had some sushi yesterday, I dont know how many cals were in it, but it actually did its job of eliminating my hunger
Then it's great.
You a foodie?
Well I like to look good smell good and feel good so excess food isn't my cup of t
But yeah I'm picky about what I eat
I guess you are one of the #goodlookers
I get you.
Just one more question, why is your username u want to cry?
I just wanted to cry that was my mood when I typed in the name
So anytime you want to change your name?
Why did you wanna cry?
My eyes got dry
Sorry?
Depends on the food supply. If the food supply runs out it's a lot more important than if there's piles of food everywhere.
Anyhow, I like to have nicely prepared food, properly presented most of the time. I take my time eating. Think it's part of how I stay fit.
10 /100 % better start buying extra putting it away
You know whats up
Common sense just tells me to do it look where we are look where we've been look where we're headed and our governments going out of business or let's again we can borrow more money from China and they can own more of our property our land they already own half to three-quarters of the United States
10 after all food is very important in order for us to keep living
French food is amazinnnng tasting , I am in paris
Wii wii Mansour. Hold that pinky high
Pretty damn important. Necessary for survival and all. Bottom of Maslow’s hierarchy. Food, water, shelter and in my opinion; sex.
Semi colons are used like that?
🤨🤨🤨🤨🤨
I mean we need food to survive so yeah pretty important
Pretty important
To share delicious food with good people is definitely one of life's greatest pleasures.
Super Hot Sex > Molly & Clubbing > Delicious Meal with Friends > Fighting in the Cage/Octagon
Those are probably my top 4 pleasures in my life.
I eat I just don’t eat a lot a lot of my nutrients comes from green drinks or soda (soda not really nutritious it just is for calories which I burn off in a hour anyway in the spring summer and half of fall
Food is fuel, but a good meal is a great experience, especially when shared with friends. However, food is not the most important thing in life.
I love to cook and bake and I love to eat but I try to stay on a low carb diet except between Thanksgiving and New Year, and my cravings for many things disappear when I am doing low carb.
if its pizza 10/10 other then that 5/10
I love food, but i hardly ever get to eat a good meal. If i don't make it its not there. So important yes but i can do without.
I am in love with food...
FOOD is everything for me...
#iamatruefoodie
10/10 food is one of the most important things in life for me. It's what keeps me alive, but I also know when to stop eating.
The two things that make me happiest are friendship and food
I know how to seduce you then. Having parties.
No, I mean love and appreciation type of friendships, no strangers gathering together to tell jokes.
Ok then, having a community. Then again that would probably seduce most females.
7/10. I really like food.
I can't eat a lot at once so no to big meals, but if I don't eat enough / am hungry, I don't like that.
Number 2. Right after SEX.
And number 3 is love/respect/attention.
Give a man these three things and he'll remain forever in love and loyal to his woman.
I'd say an 8 out of 10, but the next best one here is a 7/10. Since food is easier to get than sex, food is the best thing in my life (right now).
Superb Opinion
