First time i had it, i didn't really like it. I was just a kid so i thought it tasted like sweat because it has that somewhat sour and a little salty taste to it. But it grew on me really fast. Now i think it's like nature's Gatorade and feels really refreshing.

You call it coconut water, we call it coconut juice. Liquid inside a lemon is called lemon juice but water infused with lemon is called lemon water. I don't think coconut infused water would taste great. But that's beside the point. If you don't see the picture then you're blind
Haven’t tried it in a while but I remember when I vacationed in the Dominican Republic, they would cut open coconuts and give us them to drink and I thought it was nasty. I thought it was flavorless
I like coconut juice and coconut foods. I usually make coconut jelly within a young coconut with its juice and it comes out clear. It's tasty and pretty.
Coconut water is nice especially if u put it in the fridge to cool it also helps if you're hypertensive I heard nd the Coconut 🥥 juice we use that nd make rice nd peas also use it to cook something call run down

Coconut water is straight from the green coconut. Coconut juice is 10% coconut water with blended with something else. Coconut milk is squeezed through the pulp and filtered to make the milk. Its all good , especially roasted \pulp coconut water.

Im not from the USA. Even tho i grew up a lot in Hawaii , not even Hawaii is really the US. I know plenty of philipinos here and they always talk tagalo or ilicano. Still i here the word "water "after coconut. Even in the philipino store , no more juice printed on the can from the Philipines.
That just means they learn so easily. Also because they are not in their country. Also what you said is an anecdote. I can also say Filipinos here in the Philippines dont say coconut water. But the main thing is they don't judge nor try to sound like a smart aleck if anyone says coconut water unlike you

More the fact that when I look up “coconut juice”, coconut water comes up instead. So wondered if it was the same thing but just called differently where you are. Was trying to understand whether you were talking about coconut water or if it was completely different.
Maybe its because they're both thesame thing. So there's no right or wrong in this. The fact that mayoclinic also stated that coconut water is a type of juice says it. Also i made an update talking about me posting a picture.
