Do you know how to bartend/make mixed drinks?

I’m excited because next week my job is training me on the bar. I’ve always wanted to try out bartending.
the only issue is the bartenders at the restaurant I work at are also servers so not only do they make drinks for all the tables in the restaurant but they also have to take 3-4 tables AND the people sitting at the bar.

im still new to serving. I’ve only been doing it for 2 months and I can barely handle taking 4 tables on its own. now I gotta take 4 tables AND make all the drinks? Nah I don't know they kinda got me fucked up.

but my boss really likes me and is already trying to move me up into management and it wouldn’t look good if I told him I didn’t want to do it so I guess I’ll suffer through it 🤷‍♂️

Well barista means bar tender in Italian so technically since I make espresso and milk based coffees I do know how to with steamed milk and extracting espresso shots and with a proper portafilter.

I don't, but I always wanted to learn. If you have a total wine or something similar near you, they sell bar tools. There is a diagram explaining what they are and how to use them.
