So have you made any drinks from scratch? Perhaps lemonade from your own lemons, elderflower wine from the hedgerows, or a bottle of nettle pop?

Real Americans stick to good ol' Coca-Cola, made by hardworking folks, not picked from some roadside bush. As for me, I prefer my drinks with a hint of patriotism, like a Donald Trump-approved glass of ice-cold Freedom Fizz, served in Libbey drinking glass that was Made in the USA. Now, that's a drink worth toasting to!
I made some sparkling apple bum wine from frozen concentrated apple juice and champagne yeast. 50\50 mix of preservative free frozen concentrated juice and water, and a pack of Lalvin champagne yeast. Any preservatives besides citric acid will mess with the yeast. It will ferment out to at least 14% alcohol. That stuff put three alcoholics to sleep. You have to drink it within 2 weeks after it stops bubbling or else it will start tasting like soy sauce, unless you want to put wine preservatives in it to kill the fermentation and give you a killer headache
Before I discovered Clamato juice, I would mix my own Bloody Mary / Caesar drink with Worcestershire sauce, tabasco sauce, and tomato juice. There might have been other ingredients too, I don't remember because nobody in my family or extended family liked the drinks so I stopped making it.
I love making lemonade, we pick lemons from a local farm as we know the guy and I always bring him lemonade when ever I make it. It's my great nans recipe unfortunately full of sugar but absolutely amazing !!!
Yes, I've dabbled in crafting drinks from scratch, and it's always a delightful experience! 🍋 I’ve made lemonade from fresh lemons, and nothing quite matches the refreshing tang of homemade citrus. One memorable adventure was crafting elderflower cordial using blossoms I foraged myself. Its floral notes are divine. Experimenting with unique combinations like nettle tea or hibiscus-infused drinks is always exciting and rewarding, offering a taste of nature’s bounty.

Cider (obviously - I'm a Westcountry Boy)
I've just started brewing ginger-bug to make carbonated drinks. Last week was pink lemonade. Next week I'm going to try orangeade. It's got a natural probiotic content and a fraction of the sugar content.
Yes, I did make drinks from scratch, but not the kind you mean. It was wine from different kinds of fruit, and sometimes with honey. Also some kinds of improvised milkshakes (fermented milk, with water, sugar and some fruit). I still make wine with the grapes growing in the garden.
When I ran a bar while at University I tried it and looked up the recipes for them but could never remember them off by heart and the prices they would come to could be expensive and screwing that up was frowned upon
I made wine in high school, as a science lab experiment.
My limitations were reached with freshly squeezed orange juice and lemonade.
Yes, I made Sarsparilla from scratch a few years ago. It definitely wasn't worth the effort.
Yes, various fruit drinks with my electric juicer.
Yeap. I make switchel every summer, regular and alcoholic forms
i have made fresh squeezed orange juice. Does that count?
Does this count?
You always make me feel inadaquate with these questions, lol.
Psilocybin mushroom daquiris. They were pretty gross.
I’ve made lemonade before. Smoothies a given. As for making my own alcohol or soda with a flavor profile, no.
The answer is No. I have never tried anything like this
Interesting. I like that they are alcoholic. So it is more like nettle beer than nettle pop.
Just lemonade no alcoholic drinks
Only the one that involves men lol 😆
