How much garlic powder or pepper should I put in my cabbage soup?

The shaker I bought is huge so it always overdoses your food when you use it, I think it’s a marketing gimmick to make you use up your product faster so you will buy more product.

I couple of teaspoons should be okay. You can add more if you want it to taste more flavorable

I’d add 1.5 table spoons of garlic and one spoon of black pepper don’t come at me lol

That’s what measuring spoons are for if it flows out fast, scoop it.. or some people like experienced bartenders count their pours.. so they have an idea just by measuring so much

I use one head of garlic per litre of stock as a base to my garlic soups. It sounds a lot but once cooked it mellows. I prefer to a add Pepper once it's in serving bowl
