What's a good dinner to make for a males birthday?

So my boyfriend birthday is in like a month and I'm trying to think what to cook for his bday dinner I want to make it special because I cook every night every night for us but it's his bday so I want it to be perfect... I'm already planning on making him a cheesecake from scratch because that's his fav but I don't know what for the main course... also on a kind tight budget do to not being able to work much do to a hand injury and lots of bills
