Elliot- 'you want a coke?' evertime i hear that, makes me go get one.
Pepsi was my favorite younger years... until i said, ugh... why does this taste different.. there's something different with pepsi... i kept being told... our taste change when we age.. i said... nah.. it's not that. This is just different.. they made it different! I stook to that. bout 6 years later... i found out... that pepsi lost the cane sugar and high corn fructose syrup was added. anyway... couple years later, i tried the new one again.. it's ok.. still had the strong carbonated that i like. Still to this day... it is always a coke sometimes i will have a pepsi02 Reply- +1 y

+1 yPepsi is a kind of Coke? 😳
I prefer Coke Classic and sometimes cherry Coke, but cherry Coke hard to find here in Canada for whatever reason. It used to be all over the place when I was a kid in the 80s, but ever since it's been like the cherry Coke speakeasy. lol
With that said, I don't really drink Coke or any other kind of pop that much anymore. But when I do have a cola I actually prefer the store brand from the grocery store I shop at. I find it's much more flavourful and complex in its flavours than Coke and especially Pepsi. Not only that, but it's cheaper too, which only adds to the bargain.10 Reply

No, just kidding! ... at least about the coke part... lol
You do know that the original coke was called that because cocaine was one of the active ingredients don't you? :)

It's probably better that way as patents expire and then become public domain :)

+1 yI don’t really drink soda anymore, but I’m lying if I said Cherry Coke isn’t the nectar of the gods. I got hooked by the cool pop art cans they had when I was a kid in the late 80s.

+1 yMy favorite Coke is Coke Zero, but my SO always buys regular Coke so that's what I drink most often. I actually prefer Dr Pepper for a soda, just came back from the store with a 6-pack of Dr Pepper Sugar Free to try for the first time.
