+1 yI find water is best, and it's perfectly refreshing.
Carbonated drinks, fruit juices and drinks containing caffeine can be a bit irritating as far as I'm concerned, and alcohol might seem refreshing in the short term but ends up dehydrating you.

+1 yone of 2 things are really great in my opinion. ice cold water, with 2 fresh limes squeezed into it and a pinch of salt.
or ayran. it's not native to my country. it's a turkish speciality as far as i know and it really cools you down. guess people from warm environments know how to deal with it.

+1 yA cold coke or pepsi. Maybe a water. I was working both inside and out, moving stuff. it was 78 inside, with air conditioning and the fan. It was 85 or 90+ outside. Finally, I had to leave because I was dripping sweat with little air. I went to a nearby McDonalds.

"On_cloud_wine" "drinks water to cool off" .. hmmm..
It's a stretch, but.. former alcohol drinker? Or Linux user? - +1 y
@TheSpaceGnome I can’t be both?
- +1 y
@on_cloud_wine Valid, is that indeed the case though?
- +1 y
@TheSpaceGnome I drink, but not to get drunk. You?
- +1 y
I don't drink, I was more interested in whether or not you used linux tbh.
- +1 y
@TheSpaceGnome Linux user?
- +1 y
Wine is a compatibility layer for linux, so I figured you either meant that, or more likely the alcoholic beverage. But seeing as you didn't put drinking wine as your response to the question (despite your user name), I figured there was the slight possibility it wasn't the beverage you were talking about, and when you said, "I can't be both?" I figured that was confirmation, I guess not though?

@TheSpaceGnome @TheSpaceGnome sorry about the misunderstanding. And I can’t find Linux anywhere, other than it’s some type of software. I’ve never heard of it.. why do you ask?
