I've never heard this. Now dissatisfaction with individual service, occasionally, yes, but not wait staff in general. People are actually usually sympathetic to them, and many of them are very funny and personable.

If their behaviour is unacceptable then there is a good reason why people dislike them. Of course there are many waitresses who are just trying to do their job and are genuinely nice people.
