99% of the time with hot (temperature, not spice) dishes I'd say.
    Cold ones?
Sometimes on bread with things on it, but not necessarily always...
Salt is kind of a important spice in Norway.
And our cuisine is dominated by traditional preservation methods.
    Including salting.
So we definitely got a taste for it.
And we're living right by the sea, so salt is easy to get by.
Heck, the very air we breathe contains salt.

I no longer add salt as you get way more than enough from all of the processed foods we eat daily even a plain slice of bread has up to 200mg of sodium which is 10% of the daily recommended 2000mg of sodium per day.

Basically I won’t eat something with no salt unless it’s got sugar, which I consider just as tasty as salt.

I think I only use it for my eggs, so not that often. 😅

Very seldom. Usually a pinch of salt when boiling pasta. Also when making french fries from scratch. Other than those, only when the recipe calls for it.

Only lightly when I do but its one thing having older parents has gifted me with. My gram though is obviously older then both my parents and she can not eat food without pouring salt on.

It depends on the food but I would guess 40 to 50% of the time. I don't use a lot and I prefer pepper.

Salt is an essential seasoning in almost all dishes. I use it to some degree in everything. In some dishes, I may have enough salt already in the recipe, as in canned tomatoes or a broth.

Usually, only with rice or potatoes.

My regular cooking normally includes soy sauces - they already provide the salt.

Usually when I cook from scratch, or when it's hot and sweating out too many salts becomes a problem.

If I make it myself, always. If I order food, usually it's already salted.
