What kind of fish are these?

I got em out a lake nearby where I live but I have no clue what type of fish this is they taste delicious though

Thanks I looked this fish up and it’s Said brim and perch are a similar species but brim are larger I’ve only caught a few big ones though lol

That’s true. Brim looks like a large mouth bass hooked up with perch… Perch genetically superior but creating a Humongous Brim. Fried in corn meal black skillet pan. 😋

I was thinking I’d save some of the smaller ones for a skillet and grilling the bigger ones today for Labor Day

The small ones are more tasty but more tedious to eat. Kind of like a wing verse drumstick 🍗

It’s definitely that name because I asked my stepdad who is a fisherman for 70 years and as soon as showed him the picture he told me what it is, usually found in lakes and ponds up north
