What defines a catfish?

Personally, this is why I dont like meeting people online. I dont want to be labeled a cat fish but I'm definitely a bigger girl and let them know. But my pictures are prob not the best representation.

A catfish is someone that distorts how they look online to give an impression that they actually look like that, but they actually don’t. Lots of filters, angles, a pic that isn’t yourself, a personality even that isn’t your actual personality. In my opinion all those define a catfish

A catfish is someone who appears different than they actually are. So if appearing in a way that makes you seem different to the size you are then that can be treated as such.
