Why fast food places don’t give you condiments like ketchup etc?

Each time I go to McDonald’s I never get ketchup. I’m given fries and no ketchup in my bag. And when I ask for it, the cashier makes angry face and doesn’t say thank you.

only place that gives you condiments is in in out that’s it.

wendys I’m given a baked potatoe no butter or sour cream. Get nasty looks if I ask for butter. They even rush to give you the bag so fast and slam the door to not have to hear you ask for condiments.

i live in USA and fast food places here do not give condiments. A shame you can’t walk inside the restraunt either anymore grabbing the ketchup packets that you want since covid.

Companies love to cut costs especially nowadays & by not throwing ketchup in your bag they can save millions. A long time ago I remember ordering fast food & they would throw about four or five ketchups in the bag. As for me I would usually use two ketchups & the other three either got throw out or took up space in my refrigerator. Nowadays if you want it you have to ask for it… You don’t ask, they save.

It's the total opposite in India.
McDonald's, Burger King, KFC all shower you with ketchup. Domino's or any pizza place showers you with oregano and chilli flakes.

on the back of your receipt they always have the number for corporate headquarters and the moment you give feedback especially negative they will start firing across the board starting with the manager

Don't know about Wendy's but we have KFC and Mc Donalds and many local restaurants. The crappiest of places will give ketchup albeit of questionable quality at times
