I think realistic desserts look great. It makes desserts even better. I admire people who can make realistic cakes and realistic desserts. It takes real talent to be able to do such things. I hope one day I can make desserts like in the videos. 🍰🎂🧁🍫🍬🍭🥧

I'm not a fan. It's kind of odd and disturbing. One time I was visiting extended family and they had one of those printed cakes with a picture of my little cousin on it, and it was really weird seeing a depiction of her get cut up into little pieces to get consumed. No word of a lie, I was handed a piece with a part of her face and her left eye looking up at me. I mean, I know it's just cake, but I found it kind of morbid. lol I'm also not really a fan of cakes or other deserts made to look like various items or animals, etc. I guess I just prefer my food to look the way it's supposed to look. lol I can appreciate the talent and artistry that goes into making some of them, but it's just not for me.

They can be really creative, but the ones that look like body parts (like the hand in the picture) creep me out. I do feel a little bad ruining them to have some cake though.
