What is your favorite salad dressing?

I like to buy these little pre-made salads for my lunches. The salad is fine but they only put ranch in with them. I don’t dislike ranch, but it’s not my favorite and it gets old. Also, ranch tends to have more fat and salt than other dressings i prefer anyway. What’s your favorite dressing? Are there any you won’t eat?

When I have a salad at a restaurant, I almost always get the house dressing... it's fun to sample each restaurant's dressing. At home, I usually have ranch or thousand island.

thousand island, but I do like that western dressing, I kind of forgot about that, I will have to pick some up.

The western dressing was my favorite as a kid. I haven’t had it in a long while myself.

The smell/taste of vinegary things like Salad dressing, pickles, apple cider vinegar, salt/vinegar chips, etc will have me puking for the rest of the day. I haaaaate it. My birthday dinner is coming up and im nauseous already because I know someone at the table is gonna order salad 😭

I dont eat salad nor dressing. Which is not vinegary? Even ranch makes me nauseous

I don’t think there is vinegar in ranch, blue cheese, thousand island, western or french. I could be wrong.

Well then, you may not be fond of what I cook. Our cuisine is actually vinegary not just when it comes to salads. We dip our fried and grilled food in vinegar. Sometimes we cook food in vinegar. But at least I can do some international cuisines lol.

I wouldve guess that thousand island for sure contained vinegar but oh well. @Aiko_E_Lara I definitely still want to try something of yours :) Also vinegar is fine as long as i can't smell/taste it. For example, i love chips/salsa. Almost all my red salsas contain vinegar but i can't smell/taste it

Not sure if the vinegar is noticeable or not but maybe we're just use to it. Just like how Koreans are used to the smell of Kimchi and they like that smell. Except vinegar don't smell like Kimchi. But sure when marinating or cooking food in vinegar, it will barely be noticeable because of the other spices we use. by the way, our vinegar dipping sauce isn't just vinegar. There's seasonings in it. Like tons of peppers, garlic and sometimes onions ginger and rarely lemongrass in it

I like to go to restaurants with a salad bar. After I fix my salad up I like Bleu cheese dressing on it. I go swishing through the big tub of dressing and scoop out as many chunks of Bleu cheese as I can. It's more like Bleu cheese dressing with 🥗 salad on the side. 🤗
