Not officially. But having worked in fast food when I was a teenager I can tell you most fast food managers are no more competent than thier employees. And so it's lunatics running the sylum so to speak.😆

What I will say is this, it's fast food, IT'S CHEAP PRODUCT. When you go to Burger King and order a whopper the generally always have the food already prepared. Fries under a heat lamp to keep them warm and burgers and buns in a steamer to keep them hot and moist. They're only supposed to stay there for 10 minutes before being thrown out. So the level of product waiting to be served will vary depending on the level of business.

So when you consider the amount of waste a fast food joint has in day a handful of fries isn't going to make much of a difference. But if you just allow employees to eat whatever they want they cook stuff just to waste increasing your waste. Not to mention it looks bad and is unsanitary. So whether it's allowed or even accepted varies from manager to manager. As I said some mangers are just as bad as the employees. When I was a teenager working there I knew one manager who was stealing a 100 bucks a night from that place.

No, lol. They probably won't care if you sneak a few, but that creates an unsanitary environment to do it all the time, not to mention wasting product.
