Yes, if it is ripe and sweet. Yum! There is a variety called ambrosia melon that's absolutely delicious. We grew some for a while until ground squirrels killed the plants.

At first I had to check the word "cantaloupe" on Wikipedia, and it seems to be a kind of well known melon. Of course I love them if properly ripe.

  It is always your choice. If you tell yourself you ain't it, you will believe it.
  You got to control your narrative. I could've easily after what happened to me went down the path of self loathing and hatred.
  I refused. I reminded myself everyday what makes me special, and nobody would steal my happiness.
  You can too. It's all about reprogramming what you see about yourself and your world.
  How it is all temporary. 2 more years and you can choose your own life
