I love music arts, especially music composers. Joe Hishaishi is the best. I listen to his music when I'm working on my novels. It puts me right there with my characters!
Also, classic paintings. My favorite is "Nighthawks" from Edwards Hopper. The guy sitting alone, drinking the cup of coffee, I wonder what his story is, and then the man and the woman sitting together, I wonder if they're together or if they are too lonely souls just sitting there, wanting to talk to each other.
Then there's the man behind the counter, who's bending down. I always wondered if he dropped something, like a fork or maybe broke a class and is trying to clean it up, and maybe he's reaching down to put a plate on the counter to serve the one lonely guy, since he's closer to him. Sometimes I picture myself in the diner, trying to figure it all out.
I like to make up stories for these paintings. Unfortunately, the area I live in now, there are no museums, just a library, and these people around here use books to balance their end tables! (I don't they know how to even open one, let alone read one!)
I always wanted to take up painting. I'm a really good drawer, and an excellent writer, especially novel writing, I mean, I finished 3 books part of a series, and wrote other novels, but painting, I don't know. I never learned, so I don't know if I'd be good at mixing colors, if my drawing would be sloppy, I don't think there's any art stores around here because I live in an area with stupid people that would probably think the bananas in the painting are real and try to eat them! (I wish I were kidding!)
When I was in high school I was in the music arts program and theater arts. They made me do a kissing scene in the theater one. (I probably should have read the rest of the play because I didn't know!) Kissing a girl, no problem. Kissing a girl in front of the whole school in a play, awkward!
I like all forms of art though, and if I ever become a professional writer, I'm going to dabble in all kinds of art. I always wanted to go to a symphony. ::Sighs:: One can dream.
Oh, for me, that's a toss up between cinema and music.
Especially, the older I get, the more I appreciate the nature of cinema, but, also, the older I get, I find that my primary solace from the real world is music.
All kinds of fantasy art from Roger Dean, Rodney Matthews to my favourite H. R Giger.
I like animal sculptures and children’s toys designers

Classical music composer
That is truly an art form right there in my book
Like take the French composer Claude Debussy is often regarded as the father of modern classical music. Debussy developed new and complex harmonies and musical structures that evoke comparisons to the art of his contemporary Impressionist and Symbolist painters and writers. His major works include Clair de lune, La Mer, Prelude to the Afternoon of a Faun, and the opera Pelléas et Mélisande.
If your into music, try his music
Wow.
No answer shall be forthcoming from this G@Gger.
You made me stop and think there.
That's like asking me to choose between puppies and rainbows after a quick summer rain shower.
👍😊
