Beef! And pour in a can of hormel chili! When I was young and married and my wife was spending all the money I had to live on $1 a day. Back then ramen was.11 and chili was.49. I’d mix the two. SOO good. I have it once or twice a year even now because I love it so much but I only put in about half the seasoning packet. Way too much sodium for this old bear.

Usually it's the chicken flavor for me. But I've had a few others that are good. With stovetop ramen I'll put in leftover chicken & carrots (sometimes onions and celery too). Then I'll peel a hard boiled egg, split it, and put it in the bowl before my ramen. It's delicious!
Ramen is basically the same, regardless of the artificial flavored salt packet. When I eat ramen, not that often, I sometimes ignore the flavor packet altogether.
Having said that, my pantry shelf usually has a few chicken ramens on it.
None of the above, they are all too salty.
