Which pizza topping would you prefer: anchovies or pineapple?

I have pineapple on pizza all the time. I do not eat any kind of seafood and the smell of anchovies makes me gag and retch. That makes it an easy decision for me.

While normally I get a "Hawaiian" (ham and pineapple), I occasionally get something most would consider strange - I initially did - and order a sausage & pineapple.

Back in the late 80s, I delivered pizza for Domino's, and one busy weekend night I hadn't eaten anything since noon and it was nearly 8pm and I still had a long night to go. Normally we would have "crew pies" - pizzas that were ordered and then cancelled, or made wrong, but we had none that night until just before 8pm. It was a fresh, out-of-the-oven sausage and pineapple. I'd never even seen anyone order that combination before, and it seemed very strange, but I was so hungry I grabbed a couple of slices on the way out of the door for my deliveries. IT WAS DELICIOUS, and not just because I was hungry. I've since had other people try it, and everyone who has was surprised at how good a combo it was.

I love pineapple and hate anchovies, alone or on pizza. So definitely pineapple.

Pineapple... I detest little stinky fish unless they are blended up in Cesaer salad dressing, in that I don't mind them. But I love pineapple on my pizza! Yum!
