I prefer fish and seafood.
+1 yI love seafood. The only problem is that a lot of it can contain mercury. But trout in rivers and mountain lakes can be good. But still, who doesn't like a good steak, some ribs, or burger every now and then? And don't forget the bacon.

Although, beef & pork are more often served at home than seafood.
I will definitely order at least one seafood dish in a restaurant along with something meaty.

+1 yI only like raw fish and not all raw fish, I hate raw mackerel. When it comes to other meats, I like flavoured chicken in things like mayonnaise or ranch dressing but I donβt like it by itself. I also like beef but I donβt like fatty beef.
10 Reply Meat, but not so much beef. I love pork roasts, lamb, duck, chicken and even goat much more than boring cow.

+1 yI prefer meat, but I like fish too. I catch my own fish every spring and fall, so I always have a steady supply. However, I still don't understand why fish and seafood aren't considered "meat" though. lol

Fish. salmon to be specific, but I just found out that only sockeye salmon is actually good for you, and I've been eating the other kind for years smh

+1 yby the way fish is meat. Instead, red meat or fish meat? For me it completely depends on the individual food portion and how it's cooked or seasoned.
10 Reply1.2K opinions shared on Food & Beverage topic. I also prefer fish and seafood. I don't think meat is healthy.

Not red meat

I'm not interested a debate, but I'm genuinely curious what isn't healthy about red meat. Other than allergies. Toxin accumulation happens in plants too, unless it's grown in a clean environment, and if so, without toxins all there is in meat is nutrients.
One could argue that these nutrients become out of balance, for example, you could get too high iron intake if you're not careful, but iron is also essential to have in our diet so it isn't really a toxin and levels vary by tissue, you can also donate blood or consume curcumin or something to decrease iron levels. - +1 y
Without contaminants*
What I mean by the last sentence in the first paragraph is that most animal species don't produce toxic chemicals, antinutrients, irritants, unless you eat the digestive organs and glands that are stinky and bitter. - +1 y
One thing I noticed, is that generally red meat is more horribly packed with nitrates and other artificial crap, after already raising the animal on GMO foods which cause high levels of atrazine to be detected in beef.
