Yes, I had it as a child growing up. I still eat this as an adult, especially if I need a quick and easy throw-together dinner. Or if I have to tighten the belt on expenses for some reason this is a great cheap filling meal.

Many times! Pork and beans was one of the nine dinners my mother could cook. We almost always knew what day it was based on what she cooked for dinner. Mac N Cheese or fish sticks was always Friday.

We call them beenie weenies and I hated it growing up. I refuse to eat it as an adult. My grandma would make a huge pot of it.
