No I boil it alive , killing it first can release bacteria and toxins that can make you sick , why it’s best to cook it alive , seafood is best when it’s fresh like
Clams and oysters and crabs
Etc. I know most people think when they are boiling lobster that the lobster is screaming
For help, that’s not what is happening at all , it’s actually just the sound of the water
Boiling in the shell that makes that noise , so no reason to kill it first before boiling it , the second that lobster hits the boiling water It’s dead instantly, imagine yourself falling into a pool of steaming boiling water , you would be dead instantly lol

The real reason they are cooked live is that they are covered with dangerous bacteria that will cause the meat to be poisonous ☠️ within mere hours after death.

Also they don’t have a better known method to dispatch the creatures with less pain and suffering.

The “screaming” is merely steam escaping the shell.

If someone could prove a better method to reduce suffering it definitely should be used
