If you like to partake in alcohol, why is it you get drunk?

Just curious and wondering if your reason matches mine, to simply have fun and let loose a little.

I do not drink anymore but I did when I was younger. I used to drink a lot by todays standards but I did not drink anymore than any of my friends. I used to like to get drunk. It was relaxing and I had a lot of stress back then.

nowadays when i drink its just to take the edge off a little. i don't get drunk. im too old for that lol

I drink just so I can get some sleep. I don't even want to be around people. I hate people in general. So I guess I also drink just to tolerate people. It numbs the pain so to speak.

Haha, as long as the drinking part is fun then it's worth it, for me it's bacon and egg sandwiches and/or noodles and I tend to feel right as rain - though I guess I'll comment tomorrow still in the happy stage ATM
