THANK YOU! So glad I'm not the only one who thinks this. But you have no idea the shitstorm you just unleashed. Despite what you see on TV, Italy in reality is actually a poor country, so they cook with the most basic ingredients. But they sure as hell know how to market.

I’ve had both good and bad Italian food. Same with every other country I’ve visited. Sometimes it’s too bland for my taste, sometimes it’s just right. Other than that, I generally enjoy it.
