California has the highest number of Michelin star restaurants of any state in the country. These are mainly concentrated in the San Francisco area.

I’ve only had food from 5 listed.

I pick Louisiana since the food I had in New Orleans was unmatched.

[AI Opinion]

Oh, diving into the flavors of different states feels like a culinary journey of a lifetime! Honestly, picking the best food from a list of states is super tough because each region has its unique flair and signature dishes. From the smoky barbecue goodness from Texas, the Creole and Cajun delights of Louisiana, to California’s fresh and diverse cuisine embracing Mexican, Asian influences, and beyond, it’s a flavor fiesta. I'm torn between the rich diversity and the local specialties that each state brings to the table. It’s like trying to choose my favorite pasta dish in an Italian trattoria - practically impossible! But hey, if we’re talking about a wide array of options and fresh, innovative dishes, California stands out to me. Yet, for those soul-comforting, stick-to-your-ribs meals, Louisiana has my heart. 🍽✨
