One time in my mid-20s we stopped at a Mexican restaurant and I ate a burrito on the way to the June Lake trail in Yosemite to backpack. As soon as we got to the June Lake parking lot I puked my guts out. Then, half way up the trail I had burning diarrhea. I was wrecked and didn't have the energy to make it all the way up the trail. I had to camp by myself for a couple days while my friends went on without me to Thousand Island Lake.

Another time, I went with my family to a Chili's restaurant. I can't remember what I ordered, but I got really sick later. I've never eaten at a Chili's since.

I never really know because i don’t go to the doctor just because i’m puking or have the squirts. If it lasts only one day, i assume food poisoning. I’ve gotten it from fast food and from using ground beef that i probably should have pitched. Ell oh ell!
I don’t eat at buffets because i got sick almost every time i have. For the same reason, i don’t eat food that’s been sitting out for more than an hour for any reason like parties, barbecues, picnics, catering, etc.

A number of times. The worst was Kentucky fried chicken, two times in a row, 6 months apart. I never ate that food again.

Once I ate ketchup without noticing there is a violet colored mold in the bottle. I was close to call an ambulance. Vomiting, dehydration, strong headache, fever...

It was from a packaged croissant that was a week past it's eat by date. I would go into details but I physically get sick thinking how I felt. It was the worst experience I have ever had with food poisoning. Vomiting, fever, bloating, motion sickness while laying still. I would have happy accepted being shot at the base of my skull to put me out of my misery.

Yes I was working in Florida for a few weeks and just before I left to go home I ate at theme crappy restaurant that was nex door to the motel. I started feeling sick on the way. To the airport. By the time I got on the plane I was feverish with shaking and chills. I curled up in a ball and covered myself with a blanket.

Yeah I've had food poisoning the first time I got it was because I bought a cheeseburger from the gas station what should have tipped me off was that it was on the same shelve as their deli sandwiches well after I ate half of it I threw it out because it didn't taste right and pretty much that same day I started getting horribly nauseous and ended up throwing up and was in bed for like 2 days.

Yeah, a few times. The worst was from McDonalds a big Mac and it's at the one in Longview Wal Mart. I was shitting and puking all night. 11 and 9 respectively. Went to the emergency room about 4 or 5 am. They IV'd me and checked contents left in me. Nothing left. So I had to pay the bill. Doc told me get a zip lock bag of some then it will be proven.

I had once. Like 2 years ago. I never felt so bad. Dont wanna sound dramatic but honestly i thought i was gonna die. Cold sweat, drowing up, diarrhea, fever. It was 30°C/ 86° Fahrenheit outside and i could not drink water. Because when i did i drowed up. So i could take a small sips. But looking back i should have called an ambulance because of dehydration

Yes. Last year from ordering taco bell chicken burrito. They apparently didn't cook the chicken properly. And I recently had a pathogen wreak havoc on my body from water. A pipe broke & I unknowingly drank contaminated water.

Yes, I ate a poorly cooked burger on a railway station in Italy. I had to get stuff from the doctor. Fortunately it was like the last day of my holiday and I got sick on the plane back, if it happened earlier it could have got complicated.

Ya a few times. Undercooked fish was the absolute worst food poisoning I’ve ever had. It lasted several days and i had to go get an IV at the hospital cuz I couldn’t keep anything down.
