At restaurants I get a dessert. Some restaurants have that little cart with all the delicious desserts it's hard to pick only one. I have a very big sweet tooth.
But I am no June Cleaver (from the Leave it to Beaver television show. She was the Beavers mother).
That woman made a nice dinner every single night. And started making the dessert just when the boys were coming home from school. I saw her frost many chocolate cakes through the years.
In real life, my sister was June Cleaver. She also made a dessert every single night/day. Usually some new recipe she'd find. It was all good 😊💕
Oh no, not often at all! I'd get fat in no-time! For me desert is a very rare treat. Birthdays, anniversaries, and Christmas is about it. Even then, I'm so used to not eating desert, when I do it tastes really sweet. Besides, I can always take some from my fiancé's plate. (kidding 😁)
Great question.
Laura. 🤗 🥰
Sweet tooth or no?
@paledreams Definitely a big sweet tooth, but I began avoiding sweets after puberty, because I was a competitive gymnast, and the peer pressure to stay in optimum shape was massive. I did indulge in sweets after I quit, when I was 13, but I didnβt like the way it made me feel after I ate a lot of sweets. So I just cut them out of my life, with the exception of the occasional rare bite, or as I wrote above, on special occasions. So yes, I love sweets, they just do not love me back! π

Okay then, Laura lol π°π ; can I ask lol, do you miss the leotards or do you by choice own any adult sized ones? π
I just wondered lol π
@paledreams First I wore "adult sized" leo's when I was a gymnast. Adult size for leotards is usually over 12 y/o. But No, why would I MISS my old gymnastics uniform? If I did, i'd just wear a one-piece bathing suit at the beach. Nah, also they can be REALLY uncomfortable, when you get a custom made leo, at the beginning of the season, and grow three inches before the end. So no, I donβt miss my old leotards, and I certainly wouldnβt wear one voluntarily, you have to get naked just to pee FFS! Who would ever miss THAT?
Oh I meant in the context of the bedroom even + uhh anyways ππππ that would've been my take as a boyfriend now I'd be like "say honey, if I bought you an adult leotard with sparkles and all, would you wear it for me in the bedroom" lol ππππ and or if I bought a matching Blades of Glory male one sparkle sparkle, that would be me and my girlfriend if she told me she was a gymnastics. Or a ballerina once, I'd also say to her "say honey, I bought you a very nice leotard/skirt/tutu" lol ππππ
Made for a 20s+ physique π : lol oh yeah that must've sucked growing up, especially during winter. Lol sounds like the same issues during the pool lol π for any gender. I'm cold and wet lol π¦π
@paledreams I've lived in Florida since I was 7. Our winters are like summer in most of the Northern hemisphere. And when I Started at age 5 in England, we wore covers over our Leotards to keep warm getting to the car, and the gym, dude. Also the gymnasium's are air conditioned or heated. (It's not exactly an outdoor sport). As for the pool... bad example, b/c I already mentioned I only wear 2pc bikinis. But I get your point. Now I guess you understand (besides the idea that a grown-ass 21yo woman would sit at home in a gymnastics leotard, is ridiculous) why I would not want to wear leotards at home. It would be no different to a guy getting kitted out in football pads, and helmet etc... to watch Netflix because he played football from ages 5 to 13. Nobody does that, sweetie. If they do it would be an indicator of severe mental health issues. I understand that you think attractive young women in leotards are sexy, but that's exactly why I quit! After my uncle raped me, I became painfully aware that men were sexualizing me despite me still being a little girl! I began to notice the NUMBER of single men, with VERY long lenses on their cameras (not in the press area) and with no family next to them, who would follow me with their cameras to get close-up crotch-shots to post on the internet! So I became extremely disillusioned with the whole thing. I was tired of being sexualized, of having the sport I'd dedicated my life to and hoped to represent my country in the olympics, being sexualized en masse, so I quit!
I never have dessert at a restaurant. The only time i had a restaurant desert was when I ate at a place where my daughter was a waitress. She told me to try the double chocolate cake. She said I would love it. It was so good you could almost feel your teeth rot while you ate it.
I am usually following a low carb diet and almost never eat dessert. If I have a dessert, it is difficult to top chocolate bread pudding with rum sauce.
I hop onto Girls Ask Guys often, mostly because talking about food is my jam, and I can't resist sharing a bit about my dessert habits. So, here's the scoop: at home, I might not always indulge in dessert because, let's be honest, the effort to whip something up after a meal isn't always appealing. But when I'm out at a restaurant, oh boy, it's a different story. I see dining out as a full experience, where dessert is the encore, the final act that rounds off the evening. I almost always peruse the dessert menu, even before I've picked my main course! 🍰 My all-time favorite? It's a tie between a classic tiramisu and a rich, creamy cheesecake. Something about the blend of flavors and textures in both just hits the spot every time. How about you? Do you save room for dessert? 🍨

Often. Tom, you are a bot! I know you're not, but you hit home.
@geminidiamond I've been called many things, never a bot. Thanks!
You're welcome darling.
Almost never at a restaurant. I usually need a box as it is. At home, sometimes but it probably wasn't for a few hours after.
At a restaurant almost always. At home a few times a week.
I literally answered how I did and then i realised oh my gosh this woman's wrote word for word. Sorry poppy lol π and if unwelcomed, blocks are fine, I'm just back here again from boredom for gag, not for you πππ«
Practically never. Don't really have a sweet tooth. I may have dessert once a month.
I'm not that much of a fan for sweets... I get more carbs instead
Those listed in the diagram are rarely eaten. Ice cream just about tops it, and I eat it rarely as well. My weakness is chocolate but I'll eat dark chocolate, and a slice of very seldom cheesecake.
Ehh, it depends on the time of day. For example, if itβs 7pm or later, I try to avoid sweets. I donβt want it to interfere with my sleep.
Never. If iβm craving sweets, i start with it. One of the benefits of being a grown-ass man. Ell oh ell!
I normally leave it a few hours then have a fruit salad.. (Grapefruit, Apples, Cherries, Plums, Nectarines and pineapple if I have it)
Almost always 🍽οΈ lol 😆 no fat here lol 😆 - so I eat what I like, mindful of organ health, lol 😆 and teeth health ; and I enjoy my life
Or breast lactation if I had a girlfriend who was into that lol π I may even crack open a bottle of whipped cream for the areolas lol π ah well. A man can dream, sweet tooth I am π¦·π¦·
Once a week at home, 50/50 dining out of the mood takes me
If I go out to eat and it's my cheat day I will.
I love to bake so maybe twice a week.
