Which cuisine are you curious to try?

I'm pretty curious about Turkish and French food. I've never tried any dishes from these countries (though I've tried a few French pastries and sweets) but Turkish food looks delicious, and I've heard a lot of good things about French cuisine and its importance in the culinary world.

I understand many animals are endangered and would't want to try those meats. I go out rarely for seafood though (northern coastal USA massachusetts washington maine etc type things) and each year would get a different item.

@KostasKouvalis I made it at home, tried Ayran very good and a dishes of chicken with spices, lemon and yogurt, very good too. I tried lookoum too but that was years ago as a teen, delicious.
No, never, it's too hot to try sugary dishes

I heard of that stuff. It was on every menu there. I didn't try it but I heard it's very popular with tourists.
You should try Horchata (Rice Water).

I can't eat baklava anymore. I used to love it, but I over indulged on it in Turkey, now even thinking about it makes me sick 😫

In France we call them Loukoum (Turkish delight) it's delicious generally it's either orange blossom or rose taste. One of the best things truly.

I've had real Turkish food and prefer the European version. I too would like to try some REAL French food some time. It keeps eluding me. And I'd like to try some more Caucasian and North African food, and Thai curry

You can try to make Couscous, Tajine and tchoutchouka at home, it's very easy to make and delicious it's one of the most important dishes for North African.
For French food you can make Cordon bleu easily at home

Have you made it/had it? I don't know if I've ever seen it in stores here. I don't know if I'd like it or the last one, but Tajine looks good.

My mom makes something similar to Cordon Bleu. She rolls meat and stuffs it with either spinach and feta or onions.

I've made it a lot, it's very easy to make just take a long time. Tajine is eaten with potato or bread.
Popular one is chicken with lemon, spices and olive.
In France you can find them absolutely everywhere in store, also many restaurant serve it and you can also buy it from North African mom directly.
Everyone in France love couscous, I'm pretty sure you would like it. For a simplest things you can try merguez, it's North African sausage with sheep and spices.
She seem pretty difficult she don't like a lot of things, why wouldn't she like it?

It's not really similar cordon bleu is fried and into it there's ham, gruyere / emmental. With spinach or feta it won't taste the same at all.
