Are there any ethnic, cultural, or regional cuisines you want to try? Or are there any you've recently tried and want to have more of?

I recently went out of town and had some really good Greek and Mediterranean food. I hadn't had much of it before. I'm pretty interested to try some more it.

What ethnic or cultural food do you want to try?

I’d like to try ALL cuisines of the world since I’m very curious about that! If I have to mention some of them I haven’t tried yet, I’d say African cuisine (except Moroccan one, that I tried) and Middle Eastern cuisine (Iraq/Iran). I’m fascinated by spices and exotic flavour food, despite spicy food makes me cry and sweat.

I’d like to try them all, authentically. I don’t trust americanized ethnic foods, ESPECIALLY when they use the word “authentic”. It’s a lofty goal for someone who has traveled very little! Ell oh ell!
There are some regional US specialities i have yet to try authentically too. I’ve never been to Philadelphia, but i luv a good “philly”! I’ve never been to Texas, but i luv Tex-Mex! Ell oh ell! In a dreamworld, i could have been like Andrew Zimmern, Anthony Bourdain, or Adam Richman.

I miss having Greek and Thai food. I had loads of it when I was living in NYC for a while. There's not much of it where I live now and what's here isn't that great.

Where are you now, if I may ask?

I'm back in my home state of Massachusetts. My parents are getting up there in years and with my sister living across the country, they need someone nearby in my opinion.

So what kinds of places do you have around there?

In my town, there's some Mexican, a couple Indian restaurants and that's pretty much it outside of mainstream stuff. I live in a smallish town so there isn't a whole lot without driving quite a distance.

To be perfectly honest I have been all over the world during military career the traditional dishes that I miss the most are from India, Iraq and Afghanistan, Absolutely no one makes them here.

There’s really nothing I haven’t tried that I would try. Don’t eat meat so my options are much more limited and where I live every kind of food os available

Thai food is as far as I go pretty much I’m not into nasty possums and critters or insects I like good clean American Whole Foods

Honest to goodness, Indian food. Where I live there are just no good restaurants for it.
