Trending & News Oh my, all these specific cooking nouns I have to translate 😅 Note, baster, meat tenderizer and laddle return nothing in translation, nothing or incomprehensible lol
Ummm , intuitively, can opener IS extremely useful to me, a knife and that's all? If I have regular forks and spoons already than that's all, if not, then a fork of some kind.
I disregarded oven mitts because I'm expected to have towels already at disposal?
Baster= a giant pipette for forcing liquids into/onto meat.
Meat tenderizer= a hammer/ mallet for literally beating the shit out of meat to tenderize it.
Ladle= large but deep serving spoon typically used to serve soup.
Hope this helps!
Thanks! I suppose I'm not much a meat lover because I have never heard or seen this pipette nor this hammer lol. The ladle yes!

That's very odd, you don't need pizza wheel when you have a way more versatile knife?
Knife, you can do pretty much anything with it. Spatula the scraper kind because waste not want not. Also good for mixing. And a whisk.
I think I can do without everything else.
Thought we had three choices? My first was knife and would have been followed with the spoon and spatula.
Choosing just three manual kitchen utensils is a delightful challenge. Personally, I'd prioritize a chef's knife for its versatility in chopping, slicing, and dicing; a wooden spoon, essential for stirring and mixing ingredients gently; and a cast iron skillet, which is perfect for a variety of cooking methods from searing to baking. Once, I made a full Italian meal with just these three and it was an unforgettable experience. 🍳🔪🍞

Knife, Spatula, Iron pan. I could cook a lot just with these tools.
the best of my knives...
a molcajete...
and the wooden spatula
don't really need much more than that
I had to look that up! I didn't realize that there was a Hispanic mortar and pestle version of igneous rock. That's awesome!!!
I also got to ask, is the wooden spatula so that you can prevent milk based dishes from boiling over or is there some fact that I want to wear of about wooden spatulas?
they're just the best at handling... turn, toss, stir, sauté, smack... flip, spank, and what not...
A sharp pointed knife and a spoon is really all you need... to cook... and to eat.
Actually, a spatula is pretty useless (fast fingers… 😳) Most of them are, except the kitchen knife. Of the original list, can opener, mitts, and ice cream scoop.
Can opener, whisk and oven mitts
Chef's knife, large spoon, can opener.
Cleaver, mitts and ladle
Chef's knife, rubber spatula, tongs.
I have to have a knife 🔪
