Have you ever kept barbecue left overs for more than a week?

I bought 12 meat skewers from a middle eastern store around 5 days ago and I still have around 6-10 skewers left because I had so much food in my fridge that I did not have the opportunity to eat it.

How many days do I have left to finish the food before it goes bad?

I have a craving for other food tonight but it might be wasteful to not eat the skewers today since they might not last more than 2 weeks.

I finished the skewers today, the 8th morning after purchase. They were bought at night 8 days ago.

No I have dogs to solve that problem. Meat is best eaten pretty sharpish.
