A ceramic dinnerware set for people that are disabled?

My objective is to create a way to give dignity to people with disabilities by creating a crockery set for people with mobility or dexterity issues that is not only functional but aesthetically pleasing. To offer independence to those living with others or independently and still have dignity without needing assistance to use the products. NOT MADE OF PLASTIC and affordable.

Currently on the market almost everything is made of plastic which makes things looks clinical and childish. I am looking to give more variety and look like nicer and made of ceramic.

I mean if it succeeds in being used by those that are disabled, gives them dignity, gives them comfort, love the aesthetic, is affordable to not only produce & affordable & accessible to the buyer then by all means go for it.

Why do they need plastic plates? And aren't standard ceramic ones cheap enough anyway. I know fine bone China is expensive and delicate you can pick up decent sturdy ceramic plates for low price in supermarkets.

This is something that I want to look into as I don't think it is fair to have plastic crockery aim at disabled people. They look clinical and childish, why can't we have ceramic etc. We are limited on what is out their besides the stupid plastic ones or have a mix and matched sets.

Have you considered wooden plates? They're stylish and robust.

Yes I am writing it in my essay, I could do a deeper dive. Since I am autistic, I sadly have sensory issue with using wood. I failed to use it on my last project were I looked into neo classical chairs and how they were made. I have to provide evidence people want this product and make it with my own hands, I also have to have never used the material.

I think same. I don't know if they made glasses made of glass for disabled but those Iranian Isphahan glass makers make sturdy glasses. They don't break easily.

And she should make Steel, Brass, copper utensils for disabled people. No aluminum please.

Go for it, though finding non-swaying motion tech that can be modified to ceramic is going to be an expensive process.
