What can I serve for a little house party?

I need help please! Haha

So I'm doing this weekend a little housewarming (11 months later)/ birthday party and I'm so bad at planning for things in advance... anyways I should finally decide on what do cook for everyone... do you have good ideas?
Cause mine are all over the place and I have no clue, I was thinking to just order pizza but that's not like me

I'd do a mix of dips, small plates, and desserts, but it honestly depends on your vibe and how intense you are, who your friends are

Definitely echo the charcuterie board idea and shrimp cocktail - can't go wrong there!

Mixed Fruits - you could assemble something on your own or buy a platter.

I like making this whipped feta and roasted cherry tomatoes dip with some kind of crispy sliced baguette or rustic bread as my go to for parties. Hummus is an easy second dip that you could buy at the store and just present it well on a serving platter. veggies go well, chips. Oh, onion dip is also good for chips and kind of a forgotten favorite in my opinion.

Macarons are another good crowdpleaser and a cute snack and they're delicious and not messy. I'd suggest just buying them unless you're that level of adventurous in your kitchen :)

Maybe a pasta salad of some kind for a little more substance

This is probably a weird one, but something I like to do - tacos and elote (Mexican corn on the cob - you can get mini cobs). You just decide what kind of taco options you want to prepare and then have people make their own tacos. I like shrimp tacos, but you have to know peoples dietary shit - don't want anyone dying from shellfish allergies. There are so many recipes out there. - bean tacos, shrimp tacos, fish tacos, pork, beef, etc. Or pan enchiladas.

If it's a small group a charcuterie board - get some hams, cheeses, fruits etc

If it's a larger group: dips, pizza, sausage rolls, little burgers, little hotdogs, chicken tenders / nuggets, meat-on-a-stick. Whatever party appropriate food your nearby shops has basically.

These are always for appetizers.

As for main courses it's hard to say because people have different tastes or dietary requirements.

Pizza , sandwiches, chicken, different salads . These are somethings I've had at different parties.

A lot of supermarkets nowadays do party food in pack’s already prepared. Save’s so much time. Some you can eat cold, and some you can eat hot or even both. I’ve posted a picture below to give you an idea of what’s available. Plus there’s so much you can do.

An easy dip to make & it makes plenty.

1 green pepper

1 red pepper

1/2 small onion

1 roma tomato

1 can black beans

old cheddar cheese

Catalina Salad Dressing

Nacho chips

Dice the veggies super small mix together. Open beans drain and add to veggies. Grate a bunch of cheese mix it up. Add the Catalina salad dressing to your liking. Done.

try pinwheels or a charcuterie board or shrimp cocktail (if no one has allergies) and kebabs

Or you could get firehouse subs to cater and get like a 10 ft sub

If all else fails do a potluck the guest will think you’re a total cheapskate though

Chips are cheap and taste good and as well as hot dogs unless you are Muslim or Jewish and can’t eat pork. You could also have pop corn, tastes good and you can flavour it with turmeric.
